Suzanne Kenney: President
Eva Martin: Vice President
Eva Martin comes to us from the Southern California Piano Conservatory where she was an educator, assistant to the President and the office manager of the Conservatory.
In 2004 she moved to Marblehead and opened her studio, which is home to more than 50 students of all ages. She joined the Guild on the Board of Directors in 2008. Positions held here are: Corresponding Secretary, Publicity Chair, President, and Vice President. Additionally she is a member of MMTA, MNTA, and NEPTA. Teaching is her passion.
Norma Brunner: Treasurer
Norma Brunner received a BSM degree from Grace University in Omaha, NE and a MM in Piano Performance from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, NE. After teaching piano for over 20 years in the music department of Gordon College in Wenham, MA, she now teaches part-time at Brookwood School (Manchester-by-the-Sea) and in her own private studio in Beverly. She also has served as organist, pianist and choir director in various churches throughout her career. Norma lives in Beverly with her husband and enjoys living close to her three grandchildren.
Kirsten Helgeland: Recording Secretary
Kirsten Helgeland holds degrees in piano performance from the Eastman School of Music and the College-Conservatory of Music of the University of Cincinnati. She also holds a Ph.D. in musicology from the University of Cincinnati. She teaches in Beverly, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, where she is music director and organist, and as part of the Master of Music Education faculty at Gordon College. She also works as accompanist for the Gordon College Children’s Choir and the Newburyport Choral Society.

Nancy Morgan: Membership Chairperson
Nancy Morgan, owner of Morgan Piano School in Salem, MA (www.MorganPianoSchool.com) teaches students from age 4 to adult in private, partner and group piano lessons. She teaches students of all ages, but specializes in teaching adults and Kinderpiano classes for preschool children. Twice yearly, Morgan Piano School hosts a potluck supper and recital for amateur adult piano students. Ms. Morgan composes piano pieces in various genres and styles, and records a solo piano album annually. As a mentor to other piano teachers, Nancy has presented lectures for the New England Piano Teacher’s Association and the North Shore Piano Teacher’s Guild on these topics: teaching piano to young children, the business side of piano teaching and how to teach adult piano students. She has a B.A. from Wellesley College.
Gretchen Wollerscheid: Publicity Chairperson
Gretchen Wollerscheid has been a piano teacher in Swampscott, MA since 1990. She focuses largely on Elementary through Intermediate Students, both children and adults. Gretchen graduated from Plymouth State University with a Bachelor of Arts in both French Horn and Piano Performance. Gretchen lives in Swampscott with her husband and 3 sons.
